The Master Plan of Costa Loreto is undergoing revision to pursue more exactly the developer’s dream of an ecologically sound development that preserves and enhances the magical aura of Loreto. The central essence of the project will remain the same, however; using the Sea of Cortez and Sierra Gigante Mountains as a backdrop, Costa Loreto's "Centerpiece" is a Marina which will be intimately connected to that fabled body of water.
The Marina area will be home to marine-related businesses of all kinds, and also to bars and restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops and the like. Imagine a late afternoon, the yacht basin filled with white hulls on sparkling water, a seafood restaurant serving customers the famous Loreto “chocolata” clams, and margaritas or a good Mexican wine from the Valle de Guadalupe and stories of boating and fishing on the Sea of Cortez being shared. A boutique hotel will grace the harbor entrance and, in the mornings, provide a view of a spectacular sunrise.
